“Main bed too small for us but everything else was fine ”

“I received a call 24 hours before our arrival (on New Years Eve),telling me the booking cancelled due to 'gas issues' in the apartment. I was told they would arrange for Expedia to search for alternative accomodation. I was ,however,scepital about this and proceeded to try and find accomodation myself,without success at such short notice. I then received another call after approx 1 hour,telling me now sorted but may be put in one of the hotel rooms rather than the apartment. . On arrival,the……

“The place had an unforgettable view from the living area and was well-equipped. There are plenty of guides about the local area which is helpful to plan your days. The host was very responsive, warm, and willing to adjust to our schedules. We would be glad to visit again. ”

“Great for a short stay”

“We had a great stay using this as our base to explore part of the Lake District, easy access to lakes and many fells in one direction and to vast beaches a short drive away in the other direction. Loved the jacuzzi bath to relax in after a long day walking. We found the stairs to be steeper than we are acustomed to and also smaller treads, but a good hand rail for support when going to bed with tired legs. Wifi struggled a bit on occasions with demand when trying to stream something on TV and……
