“Not really our type of hotel, too many people with children. Long queue to check-in, almost one hour. Bar service poor, queues to get served, table service non existent. selection of brandy very poor. On the plus side the staff were all very friendly. ”

“We loved our stay at Playavera, the pool area is very pretty, lots of loungers, plus a warm indoor pool and beach access so close. The location is fantastic, everything you need. We were gutted to leave, but reception refused to consider our request to extend our stay in the studio for the price of a double, despite stating most of the studios were available. We couldn’t afford boarded (food) options and the one night we paid to eat with friends we were very disappointed. I wouldn’t eat dinner……

“Stayed twice at this hotel due to its location & made to feel very welcome. Hosts are very obliging & nothing too much trouble. Rooms whilst basic are exceptionally clean & space more than adequate for short stays. pool is small but nice with small sunbathing terrace & sunbeds.Had breakfast which was continental style & more than adequate as a start to the day, hotel itself is immaculately clean & well kept. “Stunning location, beautiful accommodation, fantastic couple could not do enough for us”

“Staff and restaurant was great, hotel itself was fine. Not much around the area, we specifically booked this hotel because of the pool. We knew we would be travelling for 8 hours on a hot day by motorbike so wanted a hotel with a pool. Went to use the pool and it was "closed for the season" apparently closed on the 1st Sept... we were there on the 2nd.... might seem petty but that was the primary reason we booked the hotel... there is nothing noted about pool closure on Expedia or the hotel……
