“Really enjoyed my one night at this beautiful little lake "cabin". Paula, the manager, was especially helpful with everything and communicated promptly with me when I had any questions, even outside normal business hours. Thank you Paula! It is accessed via a private dock and is tricky to access after normal lancha run-times from San Marcos, so plan accordingly and buy your supplies beforehand. “okay so let's start with cleanliness. it's obvious the house wasn't cleaned before we got there or the sheets. The bed sheets smelled dusty and the bathroom smelled like urine. The shower had someone's else hair on the walls and floor. The pool was not heated even though it did say it was. There's no tv which was okay to disconnect. there's no AC which was fine since it was cool at night and they did provide a fan. definitely make sure to stop by the supermarket to get food because restaurants……

“We loved this place. The views are incredible. The owner was in touch and made sure that everything ran smoothly with the caretaker. All the rooms on the top floor open onto a beautiful deck that looks out at the volcano. Santa Cruz is a very small village on the side of the mountain, but no problem if you don't want to walk up, you can go to the lake and walk along the shore to the tuktuks and the pier for water taxis. Tuktuks take you up the mountain to the village, and water taxis take you to……

“This stunning villa is undoubtedly one of the top three places we've ever stayed! We absolutely loved it and wished we could have stayed longer. Alejandro, Enrique, and Anika were outstanding hosts, going above and beyond to assist us with transportation to the lake. While the journey to Lake Atitlan can be challenging and dangerous, the mesmerizing view and the luxurious villa made the adventurous journey worth it. The villa was absolutely lovely! The view from the deck was simply breathtaking,……
