“Loved Pyg Pen Cottage. Rock is a great central but quiet location close enough to Craster, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Beadnell as well as the Alnwick shops and Castle. Communication with the owner was exceptionally good. The property was spotless and very homely for the family with the kitchen well equipped. The enclosed long grassy garden in a quiet village location was ideal for our young Labrador, with an on your doorstep off-road 2.5km woodland loop being a bonus. For dog lovers looking for……

“Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road. “This is a great house for friends or family. Beautifully presented with very comfortable beds, sofas and chairs. The location is excellent for walking the coastal path, and Craster was quiet and welcoming, with good food at the Holly Fisherman. Even blue skies and sunshine!
