We enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen and sitting out on the beautiful deck overlooking the water. We were lucky in that we had beautiful weather for December!! My son in law enjoyed snowboarding at Bristol. All in all, a great place to unwind from the holiday season!!”

“The view is breath taking . Unfortunately the couches and bed were extremely uncomfortable. All of the beds are very worn and thin. The springs jabbed into my hips and back all night. My mother in law is 70 years old and she didn’t get much sleep in her bed because of the same. The bedroom off the kitchen has a door that leads into the living room. The doorknob to that door falls off and you have to turn and pull tediously in order to open the door otherwise it falls off and your stuck. While……

“I was in town for a dog show and this property was a nice, quiet get away that was within 20 minutes of the show site. We enjoyed our stay.”

“2 couples, stayed there in mid November. House inside and out is practically brand new. Kitchen is well stocked, plenty of towels and linens. It was cold while we were there, but the outside deck is very large and spacious. Grill could use some help, and there are no TVs. Basement is a plus, but we didn't use it. Property manager lives right across the street and greeted us when we arrived to make sure everything was in order. When we come to the finger lakes, we will rent this house again.”

“The cottage was in a good location to get to things around Keuka and Seneca lakes. Having access to the water was a great plus. The host gave very good directions for how to find the driveway to the cottage and the best road to take to get to it as it was a bit hidden and Google maps always directed to go on a different road. “Merlot Bungalow is the perfect house for those looking for a quiet scenic lake house still close to the local wineries and the town of Geneva. The house is nicely remodeled and offers all of the comforts one would want in a vacation home.
