“Great location. Very close to the western entrance to BIBE. I stayed at an electric campsite with no water. There’s a men’s and women’s bathroom with a single shower in each. However, you cannot flush the toilet or brush your teeth without adding a quarter to the shower? And if the quarter just returns, you get no water. Tried to explain to housekeeping but was a miscommunication. The diner is awesome with very friendly staff and great food! Will bring my own shower next time I stay. ”

“We loved our stay in the yurt. My kids 6 and 10 enjoyed making s'mores and stargazing at night. It was so comfortable after a long day of hiking at Big Bend. We came during a cold spell in April and were impressed by the heat in the yurt. It was a unique experience and we would stay here again. Communication with the host was easy and her replies were prompt. The yurt was clean and decorated so well. ”

“Loved the house, one of the nicer vrbo houses we've stayed at. Lots of attention to detail in the upkeep and amenities. The house is laid out a little odd but I'm sure that's the product of decades of updating. Plenty of space for a large family. Really nice kitchen and areas to sit. “Property was very nice, loved watching stars at night. Even though Property manager's house was next door we never saw him, but knew he was there if we needed him. The cabin is about 10 miles off the main road, so it was very secluded, we loved it. The cabin was big enough for the 3 of us and well stocked with what we needed.
