“We stayed in a yurtWe saw Big BendWe went to the Observatory My wife and I loved it! I asked her why she liked it. She said that she loved it had a dog run for our dog. An enclosed place where he could go, stretch his legs and relieve himself. Adjacent to the dog run were dumpsters to dispose of his waste.Inside the swamp cooler kept everything cozy. My wife loved the claw foot tub. Utensils from pans, dishes, cups were all there. We brought our Fire Stick so the only thing we missed was our……

“This spot is way out there. Make sure to get gas and food before you go! It was a great spot and no one was near us (at least on this night). Would highly recommend!”

“Such a cute place to stay in the city of Alpine. We were about 2 hours from Big Bend National Park, and overall had a great time. The only downside is there is no shower. I thought there was a shower from the pictures, but only bathtub and outdoor shower (which was not hooked up) We made do with the tub and everything else was great. We weren’t able to see the stars because of the cloudy weather :( But made the best of our time here. ”

“Good location for accessing local nature, walking distance to one cafe and small driving distance to many more. Quiet with great view of the stars. ”

“It’s a dark sky National Park, so there’s very little lights and we could not find the RV park but the owners directed us and sat out by the road with their vehicle lights on so we could find them! They went above and beyond!! Highly recommend. ”

“Great location. Very close to the western entrance to BIBE. I stayed at an electric campsite with no water. There’s a men’s and women’s bathroom with a single shower in each. However, you cannot flush the toilet or brush your teeth without adding a quarter to the shower? And if the quarter just returns, you get no water. Tried to explain to housekeeping but was a miscommunication. The diner is awesome with very friendly staff and great food! Will bring my own shower next time I stay. ”

“Nice place, but there are only a few restaurants to and some only take cash. Even fewer are open for dinner. ”
