“This house was just as advertised. It is beautiful. There is plenty of room, lots of places to sit and relax, and the long dining table is great! We gathered there regularly.Theresa is amazingly quick to answer any questions or provide information and very pleasant to communicate with. “Everything about my stay at the Cozy Cabin was beyond great. The drive from Chicago was smooth, and I had no trouble finding the place. The keypad entry worked perfectly, and the cabin was fully stocked with everything I could possibly need and more. I especially loved the wood-burning fireplace. With the chilly early April nights, I took full advantage of it.I spent some time wandering around the property and really enjoyed the peaceful woods. “You can’t beat the views from the deck. Great to see the barges float down the river. Cell coverage is difficult (at least with Verizon), but that’s ok so that you can just get away & relax, and enjoy the river life. Took a driving tour along the Ohio River, really enjoyed all the small towns in the area. Great place to get away!”

“We chose to stay in a more rural area to get away this year. It was definitely rural. There are just a few places by the house but we didn’t see anyone. There is a convenience store about 15-20 min away but other than that, it’s a good 45 min to civilization. Very nice river frontage. The only downfall of the river were the barges traveling up and down the river at night. Very nice to watch but some of us lost sleep due to the noise. The house definitely had everything we needed. ”

“Wonderful place to getaway from the city. My family spent Thanksgiving here. The owner notified us our cabin was having issues with wifi so she upgraded us to a bigger one with a hot tub. The wifi was still a bit touch and go at first but it was raining and they use satellite. Make sure to print out directions so you can get in and out with ease. Cell reception is almost none existent. But if your trying to get away , you have found the perfect spot! ”
