“A central location for exploring Falkirk and surrounds, the unit was fully equipped with everything one needs for self catering. It was new and very clean. Especially appreciated the washing machine. A little over decorated made it feel cluttered but otherwise a great place to stay. ”

“After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues”

“Wonderful apartment and great location. Owner was available and even helped us with coins for the parking meter. We got a workout climbing 72 steps each way (no lifts in the building). Everything was within walking distance, Dunfermline is lovely. A great central location for seeing St. Andrews, isle of May, Edinburgh & Glasgow. Plus plenty of local culture. We would stay again!”

“Just spent a fantastic week at The Kist. Beautifully appointed holiday house in a wonderfully peaceful location. Nicely isolated, but close to lovely villages with coffee shops etc. Glorious views of the Campsie hills in one direction and the Cairngorms in the other when out exploring the area. We were blessed with superb sunny and warm weather but, if we’d had more normal Scottish weather, we’d have been just as happy snuggling down to chill in the very comfortable house. “Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner instantly to show us around and how to control the Hottub, lighting's etc in this accommodation. (Helped alot) Great wee Pod and very quiet as this is away from major roads. We had no issues,except the accommodations Speakers, there was nothing to show how to connect to them. (Not really an issue but would have been a nice addition). The Biscuits were 2x months past they're BBE, so they wete really spft but i still ate them! Haha”

“Owner doesn't answer phone calls. If you have an issue, deal with it yourself. He couldn't care less. Doesn't return calls or messages. ”

“The cottage was amazing, everything we needed and more for a quiet weekend away as a family. The setting was beautiful. The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. A gem of a property that allowed us to just chill. We would love to return in the future.”

"Limited parking space, staff is helpful and friendly, I can see lots of dog owners check in every time passing the reception. Limited resources provided inside the room which is understandable for this price range."
