"This is a lovely hotel with the best breakfast in Portugal! Literally! Their restaurant Ponte Velha is also superb and very reasonably priced, the change the menu regularly monthly if not weekly which is a great. In my top 10 hotels in Portugal!"

"Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back."

"First ever visit to a schist village, and it was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, AC was excellent, kitchen was very well equipped. Breakfast is made to order (pre-ordered) every morning and is excellent. Staff is attentive and accomodating, we found our room made up while we were at breakfast. ..."
