This is the second time that we stayed at the Atrea. The rooms are nice and clean. It‘s located in an area which gives you easy access to I40 and to local dining in the area. Will stay here again when we are back in Amarillo.

We stayed at Atrea last year and returned. My spouse and I like its slightly funky presentation. It’s very good for the price. Atrea has personality, makes you smile (howdy! in neon, Route 66 outdoor mural and bright yellow trim here & there). It’s fairly near I-40 and not fully soundproof— but the birds are alive and hearable. (I’m sensitive to sound but do OK here).

We intentionally chose this hotel, basically for sleeping and grabbing breakfast in the morning because we were traveling to another destination. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable, but the breakfast in the morning which was supposed to be served until nine because it was a Saturday was pretty much a basket of apples, some defeated looking pastries, three leftover sausage patties and an empty egg tray and this was at eight in the morning. There also wasn't enough seating for the people that were present let alone us. Just seems like a good way to advertise that they served a free continental breakfast, but didn't actually provide it

The online pictures make this place look really nice. As we drove up, my husband and I both thought, “What in the world?” We quickly realized this place was a motel. We can see that whoever tried to remodel and update this place, but the rooms are still very motel. I guess we should have known by the “inn” in the title.

Nice ckean motel with easy freeway access. Nice breakfast in the morning. My only suggestion is to be a little more generous with the bath soap. Only one tiny little bar for both the sink and shower. Nice motel otherwise.
