“This is a lovely home with just three guest rooms (all up one flight of stairs) and the owner lives on site. My friend and I booked the suite, which is two private bedrooms with doors, plus a very nice renovated, dual-sink bathroom, all inside another door. Rate includes breakfast. Free on street parking. We got lucky and got a spot right across the street but you may end up a bit further away. You have to carry any wheeled luggage across the front yard/garden, which has a gravel path. Owner……

“Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.”
