“My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places.”

“House was in a nice area as we traveled to NY to attend a family wedding. Much better than renting hotel rooms. Would rent again if needed.”

“I’ve stayed in a number of vrbo’s and this is the first I have been compelled to write a review because the experience was so positive. Property and cabin was clean and in great condition. Linens and beds were very comfortable. Owner was extremely responsive and location was about 25 minutes from Cooperstown. We saw a ton of wildlife in the area including deer, groundhogs, a fox, chipmunks, and turkeys. Great place to stay! ”

“Great for family getaways with amazing water views! We loved the easy access to the lake—especially having the kayaks available, which were a big hit with everyone. The house was cozy, comfortable, and had plenty of space for the whole family. We also really enjoyed the outdoor area, which was perfect for relaxing and playing cornhole. A perfect spot to unwind and make lasting memories!”

“We always wanted to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame - the cottage is a short ride and very close to Cooperstown so ideal location for us. Scott and his friendly pup Shoog greeted us, and Scott was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and the nearby restaurants were terrific. We had a very nice stay and enjoyed beautiful weather and fall colors!”
