“The home greeted us on a warm afternoon and we found the two-bedroom accommodations to a be a spacious, inviting,warmly decorated, comfortable home. Unlike cold motel rooms, this place had a lived-in feel that reflected the pride and love Jannifer, the host, provided. That evening the rising moon slowly smothered a sea of stars that captivated our attention and filled the night with a marvelous glow. The peace and silence of the place was only interrupted by the sounds of fish splashing the……

“This was a really fun, historic location. Communication with the host was excellent. I accidentally locked myself out of the house and they came to our rescue immediately. I also need to mention the number of towels! Haha We have traveled extensively and have never had so many towels avaliable. Sounds like a small thing, but it was really nice to have so many. The nearby water was beautiful and the neighborhood is very friendly. ”

“Wanted to revisit this area for our anniversary and do some fishing also. The place was very clean and comfortable and tucked in the woods. Enjoyed the neighbors, wildlife and the lake being right there.”

“Location was great for exploring Stevens Point. House was great size for 8 adults. Bella loved the fenced in yard.Couldn't use the patio as cushions were soaked. Make sure someone has memorized door code as it was eliminated from text 24 hours prior to checkout. Were able to find phone number and issue was resolved but inconvenient. ”

“Tims place on the river was a great place for family to gather and hang out for our son's graduation weekend. We were surprised at how roomy the place was for all of us to relax and enjoy the weekend. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate and we couldn't enjoy the patio and dock more, but we found the inside a cozy place to hang out during the rain. The paved walk path was great for walking the dog as well!Another nice part was that there isn't a lot of houses or traffic in the immediate area,……

“The Depot is an amazing quaint and charming gem in the heart of Amherst. The property is newly renovated and very clean and peaceful. The owner is very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. If you need to stay in Amherst this is the place to stay! Every little detail from the furnishing to the surroundings is excellent.
