“This was the wedding HQ for the father of the bride and his family. Everyone loved the place and it was great to hang out together between wedding events.”

“I rarely leave reviews, but this property deserves one. There were 4 of us staying at this amazing home...all friends. We needed a place to catch up and relax. This home is perfect for both of those things. The home, the amazing kitchen, pool, pond, and all of the amazing scenery made this a perfect property. All of our interaction with the host was perfect and from check-in to check-out it was seamless. ”

“This was exactly as described! There is a loud train to note that tumbles though throughout the night, as mentioned in the description House was cute and comfortable, and very accessible for our Round Top shopping!”

“We had a lovely time at Tuscany in Texas and John was a great host! We came to the country to visit aging family and, with a 7-year-old in tow, it's sometimes hard to keep him entertained. The Tuscany pool was a welcome distraction and something we used every morning and night. This peaceful location was a perfect way to get some time to unwind in the midst of all our visits. Beds are comfy, the house had everything we needed, and the property is beautiful (and will be even nicer in the future).……

“This was the 3rd time we have ststed”

“We enjoyed our stay at The Oaks. There were 2 of us and we had plenty of room and privacy. Bonus that there are two bathrooms! The property is very new, modern and clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The location is one mile a south of warrenton on the main highway, so it was very easy access to the antiques and flea markets as well as LaGrange which has the closest supermarkets. We had a small lull-behind trailer and there was plenty of room for us to turn around with the trailer in……

“We got this house for a weekend getaway for my son 8th birthday . It’s a perfect house for a staycation . We loved the pool, volleyball was perfect for our family all we did was play games over and over . Loved they provided propane for the bbq pit and wood for the fire pit. They also left us a carton of eggs so many things to do here. I haven’t stayed in a house with a fully equipped kitchen as this one . They have everything you could think of in the sense of cooking making coffee even a……

“Amazing place to stay that really brings you back to the days when things were a little slower paced. Lots of old car and gas station memorabilia that is decorated very nicely. The highway 90 out front was very quite and not real busy. Train is close by but did not bother or effect us in the least. Front outdoor area nice to relax with coffee and start the day and the backyard area with firepit is a great place to end that day. Everything was clean and tidy with plenty of necessary supplies.……

“After visiting the town of Schulenburg throughout my entire life, this was the first stay in a home other than that of my grandmother. What a truly beautiful and unique gem! The time slowed as we swung on the porch swing. I loved the lighting by each of the lamps. It was enjoyable to tour each room, wanting to spend time in each. The beds provided a sound night sleep. We were able to watch a movie on Netfiix easily. Overall, I wish I could've stayed longer here.”

“The perfect location just outside La Grange. We used the home as our base camp for our company team that was competing in the MS150. The open plan (kitchen - dining - living) was perfect and allowed us all to eat, relax, and join some downtime before we hit the road again on Sunday morning. The home was fitted with all that you need to cook onsite and the views from the backyard were amazing. Definitely looking forward to booking again next year. ”

“Cheryl's property was excellent! She was readily available if we needed anything, and the house is charming! We stayed for the Round Top Antiques Show and it was close enough to get there every day. I would highly recommend her guest house!”
