“Amazing place to stay that really brings you back to the days when things were a little slower paced. Lots of old car and gas station memorabilia that is decorated very nicely. The highway 90 out front was very quite and not real busy. Train is close by but did not bother or effect us in the least. Front outdoor area nice to relax with coffee and start the day and the backyard area with firepit is a great place to end that day. Everything was clean and tidy with plenty of necessary supplies.……

“We had a fabulous time with 12 people celebrating our daughter's birthday. The house was plenty big, completely beautiful and close enough to Round Top for a Saturday night in town. The weather even cooperated!We love this property, the unique layout with fun activities including pool, Bocci ball, swimming, pinball and several decks of cards. We added Karaoke and nobody wanted to leave!Great communication from hosts and very accommodating to our many requests. Early and late checkout for fee.……

“Absolutely perfect! The house is beautiful and perfect for what we needed. Everything is provided. The grandkids loved the horses and cows. The hosts were so nice and accommodating. We are going to make this an annual event but will stay longer next time!”

“Property was like a museum. No television, furniture not comfortable, front door did not work, water in showers had a sulphur smell, some windows did not have a way to have privacy, and trains that blare through two to four times a night. Very unique stay but not typical VRBO experience. ”

“Very clean and comfy. Beds were amazingly comfortable and perfect after long day of shopping. Communication with Steve was great and easy. Location could not have been more perfect for our trip. We will be back next year!”

So much thought and planning went into making our stay extra special. Trains were a little noisy but otherwise everything was great! Would recommend to others.”

“This place met ALL expectations! You can't find a better place to get away from every day hustle and bustle! The family really enjoyed being outdoors in the pool, grilling and also catching fish as well as watching the deer and other critters. “I found this beautiful place when looking for a short one night stay to visit surrounding areas during the day. The communication between the property owner was excellent! We enjoyed relaxing on the porch, saw some deer pass through and listened to all of the birds nearby. Great experience and the option for a one night stay was a huge plus!! ”
