AMORGOS Chora-Elegant mansion,courtyard and sea view terrace

An ancient house of 1600 located in the noble part of Chora, renovated in 2011 and tastefully elegant-minimalist. On the ground floor living room with large kitchen, 2 comfortable sofa beds, a small bathroom with shower, a storage, and a beautiful romantic courtyard where you can rest and eat while enjoying complete privacy. On the first floor the master bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The large terrace can be accessed both from the master bedroom, which from the outside with an ancient stone staircase from the enclosed courtyard. The terrace is facing west, with amazing sunsets and view of the Gulf of Katapola. The house is equipped with all the facilities and every comfort. For the exterior, there are tables, chairs and 'chaises longues'.

Great place

Marco's home is very pretty and decorated with taste. It is located in the heart of beautilful Chora with restaurants and shops just around the corner. The view from the terrace is great. Marco and Krissa were always warm, kind and helpful. We had a great time.

Fabulous stay in Amorgos

The house is a hidden gem in the beautiful historic old town of Amorgos. Great facilities, offering a very comfortable home. Marco is a welcoming host who went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. Looking forward to a return visit.

belle petite maison esthétique et fraîche au centre d'Amorgos

On a beaucoup aimé cette petite maison rénovée par Marco en 2011, elle est spacieuse, esthétique et épurée, les matériaux sont de qualité; La chambre à l'étage jouxte la salle de bain, elle possède de nombreux rangements, la salle de bain est pratique et jolie; la terrasse est accessible depuis la chambre ou par l'escalier qui donne dans la cour. le rez est assez grand, il y a une seconde toilette et on peut aussi se doucher dans cette petite salle d'eau. nos deux filles de 11 et 13 ans ont dormi sur les banquettes du séjour... ces dernières sont assez larges et suffisamment confortables... juste leurs pieds se touchaient dans l'angle... je veux dire par là que ce couchage convient parfaitement à deux enfants.... mais plutôt à un seul adulte selon moi. Point très agréable aussi la fraîcheur de la maison, les murs épais de 60cm de large permettent de se passer de climatisation, il n'y en a pas et c'est bien plus agréable notamment la nuit. un mini supermarché est situé à 10 pas, et juste à coté de la maison il y a une patisserie bar qui fait de délicieuses glaces. bref que du positif, seul bémol en juillet et août, encore plus que les autres mois l'île est extrêmement venteuse, nous n'avons donc pas pu profiter de la belle terrasse. Le monastère (visible dans le grand Bleu) est accessible à pied en 30 minutes... magnifique le matin tôt. D'ailleurs quand nous y étions l'équipe de "faut pas rêver" y tournait un reportage qui sera diffusé en octobre prochain sur france3. Jolies petites criques, et belles randos...assez varié donc. A recommander sans hésitation.
