Highly recommended. Definitely a good choice to stay in old town Amsterdam with friendly local Dutch host and staffs. Most sightseeing places are walking distance. Characteristic decorated bar and tables. Delicious breakfast. Room windows can open and enjoy the sun light, fresh air and canal view. Free minibar refreshes everyday. Yeah, stairs are steep but I find it fun and good experience.

This is a little gem of a place centrally located and a 10 minute walk from the station. There are only a handful of bedrooms which are well appointed including complimentary soft drinks and snacks. Breakfast was wonderful.At night the ground floor becomes an intimate small atmospheric cocktail bar. We loved this quirky romantic hotel. 5 stars!! Please be aware if you have mobility issues the stairs are steep.

What a fantastic and unique place to stay in Amsterdam! We couldn’t have asked for a better location to be able to walk almost anywhere, endless restaurants, bars, and access to museums! Rachel was amazing from the second we got there, the breakfast is probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had, and the cocktail bar was lively and fun at night.!

The hotel is situated on the edge of the Red light district which was great and metro is 1 min walk away which is great. Main attractions are close by and easy to get to, area is very safe. Hotel is very quirky with the cocktail bar downstairs as you enter and bedrooms on the next three floors, note stairs are steep as per website. Breakfast was first class and catered for gluten and lactose free. Our fridge in the room was restocked daily at no cost, that is a first for us. We had the room with a view of the courtyard which was quiet and ideal. One thing I would recommend to the hotel is when you are greeted a street map of Amsterdam would have been good, we picked one up on our last day at the Rembrandt museum. Overall a very good stay and thankyou for a wonderful time

Cute little (Bed and Breakfast) Inn near the red light district and central Amsterdam. Breakfast was wonderful. Location was great. Just be aware of the steep stairs to the rooms.

Hyggeligt, specielt og yderst luksuriøst minihotel midt i orkanens øje i Amsterdam. Dejligt værelse, rent, flot og stort badeværelse taget i betragtning af husets størrelse. I travel a lot and generally stay at larger hotels but this was a private trip and we wanted something a bit more personal. This truly is the best hotel and most interesting hotel I have stayed at in many years. Service was outstanding throughout check-in, breakfast and departure. Location is a bit unusual given that it is a bit too close to the red light district in Amsterdam but there are plenty of options for good restaurants and experiences as long as you avoid the crazyness.

A very nice speakeasy hotel. Small and comfortable boutique. Staff was very friendly and took time to talk to us. As other reviews mention, the bartender checked us in and carried all of our luggage up to our room for us. The stairs are steep and small but manageable. Luckily we were on the first floor (2nd level above bar) so only had to go up one set of steps. The bar was never loud at night. We had a canal view so did hear cars & people off and on all night, but didn’t bother us. Loved the room!! Gabriel was our cook each morning and the breakfast was a perfect start to the days. You feel like you are experiencing Amsterdam from city center… the way we wanted it. We would definitely stay there again!

If you have the opportunity to stay at this unique boutique hotel then your super lucky. From the time we entered into this beautiful lobby and were greeted by the nicest guy Gabriel who stored our luggage and offered coffee at 8AM. Our room was clean and cozy, the refrigerator was stocked with snacks and drinks daily. The owner even provided us with breakfast in our room knowing we had a early tour and would miss breakfast. Every morning they provided amazing breakfast with delicious coffee, fruit,yogurt,bake goods, eggs and bacon. Our experience could not of been better!

Hidden gem n the DAM!

Beautiful boutique accommodation. Lovely place to look at, quirky and individual. Great Cocktail bar on ground floor that presented us with no noise issues, it's more like a speakeasy. Breakfasts were great and the service from everyone was perfect. Genuinely I would not hesitate to book again.
