I recently stayed at Park House in Amsterdam and had a mixed experience. The location is great close to Vondelpark and the Van Gogh Museum and the check-in staff were friendly. We also appreciated the free morning coffee. However, the stay didn’t match the photos or Marriott standards, and several issues made it disappointing overall. Positives: Excellent location near key attractions Friendly and helpful check-in staff Free coffee in the mornings Comfortable bath with overhead shower Negatives: Entry pin code only works after 4pm check-in; many guests (including us) were left waiting outside with no clear instructions One room was musty, below ground, with peeling paint and dirty carpet Rooms were very small, stuffy, and poorly ventilated especially the bathrooms High humidity caused visible damage to doors and walls Cleanliness was lacking: dusty baseboards and spiders around the room. No fridge in any of our rooms. Very limited storage for clothes and toiletries No food or restaurant options on-site While the location and a few staff interactions were nice, the poor maintenance, lack of consistency, and missing amenities make it hard to recommend. Better options are available nearby.

Nice staff there 24/7. Housecleaning with request and other amenities such as towels available in the lobby. The only issue was the wifi which was very spotty and poor in most areas of the room.

Our room was lovely, clean & spacious, with a fabulous comfy bed. The drinks making facilities were a little basic - some real cups & spoons would have been better, & a lot less wasteful. The property was in a great location - we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do.

The staff here was exceptional. The hotel is older but still in good condition. There's a coffee bar where staff will make what you like, a nice warm cozy sitting area and a nice dining and TV area and garden to use. Would stay here again.

This property needs serious work to bring it up North American standards for a $400+/nt hotel! I’d suggest to family and friends that they forget Sonder and just stay down the street at the Amsterdam Marriot for LESS.

El hotel tiene una excelente ubicación. Fácil acceso a los sitios turísticos y museos, ya sea caminando o utilizando transporte público. La atención del personal fue siempre amable y dispuestos a ayudar o resolver dudas. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

This is a very expensive room for what you get..almost hostel conditions..location is good...but the property needed to be renovated long time ago..dont be fooled by the pictures on the website...the rooms condition are much worse...on the plus side, the ladies at reception were friendly and helpful.

Property location only thing positive hotel rooms are not very clean - obviously pest control not done regularly - website states feather pillows “not” -fridge only in one room which did not work particular room only had shower other two rooms had tubs no fridge. Youn girl in front desk clueless on tourist activities told me to google for info! I could go in but gave left other reviews on google & social media so I think the general opinion is pretty clear.

Love the staff and the ability to chill in the room with no interruptions. Last time we stayed we had a room with a fridge and shame we didn’t have that this time. Excellent location. Visit was spoilt slightly by Sonder taking money for the hotel when it was booked on a pay at hotel and was taken almost as soon as I booked it. Neither Expedia or Sonder took responsibility and so unlikely to use either again, even though it’s a great hotel

This hotel has no amenities, not even bottled water. Room cleaning is only by request. There’s no restaurant, no snacks to buy, absolutely nothing other than coffee. It’s close to restaurants and museums but the street it’s on is dirty, filled with trash. You have to access the hotel with an eight digit code which is good for security but kind of a hassle. The staff were great, the only good thing about this average hotel.

My room was minuscule, just about 9 m2, and not cheap! I could barely move. I complained and was given a larger room. I would never have thought that a hotel of Sonder’a stranding would rent out such a tiny room.

The service was horrible, you did not feel welcome, like they were doing you a favor allowing to stay there. Not helpful at all . No help with the luggage , no one to open the door luggage . If you ask for an extra key or an extra pillow the answer was NO. Sarcastic answers . Did not clean or refresh the room. There were silver bugs on the bed.
