The Tropicana was the perfect place to stay for visiting the Disneyland parks. It's directly across the street from the entrance to both parks so couldn't have been more convenient. The property itself was sparkling clean and the rooms were quite nice. We got the room with the kitchenette and had everything we needed. And the staff were all so nice . I would definitely stay here again.

My family stayed there for a night and we were so tired after Disneyland. We had 2 toddlers and an older kid with us. We went to Disneyland until 4pm then we came back to the room to freshen up. I noticed when we came back to the room to freshen up, the do not disturb sign was half way in between the door. We didnt want to think negative but it was as if someone came to the room and was in a hurry to leave. We freshened up and went back to the park and came back around 10:30pm. In the middle of the night, I heard someone unlocked the door, I was in shocked, got up and woke up my husband and told him what I heard. My husband got up and checked the door, it was unlocked. We knew the door was locked. I called the front desk and told him what happened. He said he’ll check the surroundings. My husband and I already made up our minds that we were leaving the hotel. The front desk guy called me and assured me he didn’t see anyone and maybe I heard the ice machine and that he’s the only one with the master key. SMH. We packed fast and left. Next time we are planning to get an indoor door hotel and no more outdoor hotel. Plus Tropicana didn’t have the stopper latch to stop anyone from entering the room.

The proximity to Disneyland is unmatched. It's directly accross the street from Disneyland which is great. There's a Ihop and Denny across about a block away which is very convenient if you don't want to pay Downtown Disney prices for breakfast. The parking lot staff and front desk was great. The parking was a bit much $170 for 2 cars for three days but I guess that is par for the course in a resort area. The shower handle actually popped off but I installed it right back on. We have stayed here several times before and will continue to do so in the future

Very basic accommodations, but the location was great! Couldn’t really get much closer to the entry to Disneyland! Friendly front desk staff. Our only complaints would be the weird smell when the shower was turned on, and the coffee maker looked unsanitary…or maybe just old. I would say it’s a good value based on its location.

Nice spacious clean rooms. Small convenience stores around location as well as restaurants near and walking distance. Best part of location is the fact that is right across from Disneyland. Cross the street and you are there. They also have a heated pool and laundry facility. Only complaint was not enough parking. They told me find a parking spot before pool area, if none available come back and we do valet parking for you with the price of $102.96. Had no choice I was already there. Was the only down side.

It says there is free parking, but there are so little spots on the weekend that you will end up paying valet anyways. Definitely the closest possible hotel to Disney and was a great price! Would 100% stay here again. Very clean and nice pool.

Location makes this hotel well worth the average rooms, and uncomfortable beds. Staff were fantastic and pool was nice but definitely not a 4/5 star experience. We didn’t spend anytime but sleeping in the room. Would still recommend solely on the convent location and clean rooms and friendly staff. But it could use an upgrade. Also coffee was not good. Bring your own haha

Very close to Disneyland. Parking was too packed, though I appreciate they have valet parking. I really would rather have my car near my room. However, I was able to move it once parking opened up. The room was fairly clean, the toilet handle was tricky and it made it hard to flush the toilet. The shower was leaking, but we could still take a normal decent shower. Overall, if your goal is to be out at Disneyland, most of the time it’s fine. We have stayed there a few times. The staff has always been really nice.

The Tropicana is so close to Disneyland! As most of Harbor Blvd hotels it’s not a luxury hotel but the proximity makes up for the lack of pizazz. The property is clean and the beds are comfortable which makes for a great stay. There is parking available at a reasonable price and the offer valet, included in the parking price. The rooms stayed a tad hot and humid with the people in the bed near the AC unit being blast by the air while the people in the bed further away remained warm. The pool is central to all rooms and there’s a convenience store that offers a lot of snacks, forgotten items, drinks, etc. Definitely recommended.
