We stayed at the property for the convenience of shuttles to both the train and the airport. It is an older property and shows its age but I felt confident that it was clean with crisp sheets and fluffy towels. We loved the area on the creek. It definitely was priced fairly and if you are staying mainly for a place to sleep it's a great bargain.

Property was FAIR, it was a bit dated & it seemed that they were going through a transition of sorts. Our room had no extra seating other than the beds, the sprinkler heads in the ceiling still had tape on them from painting the ceiling. I feel like the potential was there but has yet to be attained. There was no shuttle and we were left stranded at the airport for an hour and a half. Every time we called we were hung up on. When we got to the hotel we asked to be reimbursed for our uber answer absolutely not. Needless to say we will never stay at another one of your properties and plan to let everyone we can know about our experience. A little customer service goes a long way but we didn't even get an apology. Never again!

We had a booking at this property and when we arrived there we were told that they do not have any room as the previous guest had not vacated the room. We were left with nowhere to go. The manager at the front desk too did nothing to help us. We were traveling with two kids and it was late in the night. Luckily we managed to get a room in the nearby Hilton. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone. This is the first time in so many years of travel that we have encountered such a situation. Wonder how they run a hotel without having any accountability of guests overstaying. We had even called them the morning of check in date to confirm our time of arrival. Still the room was not ready.

We would definitely stay at this hotel again. It's location is right on Ship Creek and it was great watching all the fishermen in the creek and walking the path behind the hotel. Our room was great. It is close to the Alaska Railroad and a mile from downtown. The hotel shuttle service was an excellent amenity. The included breakfast was one of the best we've had in this level of hotel.

This is the worst place to stay! They advertise that breakfast is included but it gets over in an hour. We stayed for 2 days and both days that was the case. Basic stuff like milk and bread was over and they refused to refill. The rooms didn’t have bar soap or body wash. I have never seen a hotel in recent times who doesn’t provide basic stuff like this.

Very friendly staff, clean room, no problem with having my service dog. Fast checkin, frendly shuttle driver..close to down town, good eats or river behind the hotel, nice quiet sitting area. Over all good experience. Microwave and fridge in room. For more info: iron, no ironing board so i just used a towel on the floor. No coffee pot in the room but good coffee upfront by check in and ice water.

Nothing fancy, but a decent hotel! The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was decent, there was a microwave and refrigerator, and good Wi-Fi. Also, you are within walking distance to the train station and some restaurants they provide transportation to the train station, which is convenient if you have luggage. They are right next to a river that when in season, has salmon running that you can see from the bridge.I have no complaints and would stay there again.

The airport shuttle was quick and pleasant. And check- in was easy. BUT the hotel is right across the street from the train station and the horns whistle every half hour, all night. And, while the food st breakfast was satisfactory, they kept running out of coffee and hot water, and didn’t even have enough plastic spoons.

It is right next to a river, and a very 1/3 mile walk uphill to downtown Anchorage and trolley tours. Glad we didn’t pick other hotels not near the downtown.
