“My husband and I had a lovely stay at The Cottage! It was so pretty, the bed was super-comfortable, and it was nice to have the fridge in which to keep a few snacks. We also enjoyed being able to make coffee. The location was perfect, and the host, Marie was great! She responded very quickly to our questions and was lovely to work with. “This cottage is perfect! Clean and comfortable, with every amenity covered, with such lovely touches as fresh flowers and farm-fresh eggs! The highlight was the view from the overlook -- breathtaking in the late spring and probably every season! Maureen is a perfect host -- precise directions and instructions, and a level of thoughtfulness that goes above and beyond. I look forward to staying there again! ”

“Beautiful wrap-around porch. Views were wonderful. Had to use the pullout sofa, because the stairs to the loft was basically a stepladder and for us seniors, was a no go. It does need a microwave. We gave it a four star overall, but for a younger couple would be a five.”

“A perfect little place to get away to!”

“My husband and I said “WOW” when we walked in the door. The space is absolutely gorgeous with plenty of room to spread out and a beautiful sleeping loft. The bed was super comfy and the apartment was so clean! It was decorated thoughtfully and had everything you could think of that you might need. Terri was a gracious host and let us check in early. Everything about this unit was exceptional!”

“My daughter & I came up from NYC for a family get-together and the cottage was perfectly located -- & sized -- for us. Loved it! Cozy and warm even though it was single digit cold the whole time. Really appreciated the comfy beds, the fire stove and the holiday decorations. Had hoped to make a fire in the fire ring out back... but it was just TOO COLD. Lots of things to do, restaurants & shops in the area -- next time in better weather!”

“Very clean and well taken care of, quick walk to the lake (though it was very buggy in the area!), secluded, nice and easy drive to Great Barrington or Southfield, etc. Lindsey and Steven were incredibly responsive and kind and left us a little welcome gift and some helpful tips in the form of notes. We especially loved the little "porch" that could have it's screened windows opened for cool mornings with coffee. Just a note as your perusing/preparing for your trip that this property is not……

“This was the perfect size cottage for 5 of us, with two rooms with queen size beds and one small room with a twin. The setting was very pretty, and the salt water heated pool was a good size and my grandchildren enjoyed swimming in it. We were within walking distance of the small town, and I would recommend staying there.”

The electric fire / heater in the living room was well used, and we cooked our meals with the new appliances and well equipped kitchen.
