“For the cost and shared bathroom not all that bad”

“Lovely rooftop with pool, hot tub, and panoramic views. Nice central location near Poblado Park where many tours depart. Breakfast was also lovely and a great value. My only complaint was that some staff members were giving unnecessary attitude about speaking English/not knowing Spanish. We did our best but definitely felt a little tension. Otherwise the stay was quite lovely and I would recommend the place.”

“I stayed for 2 nights at El Pescador Guatape. The appartment was well maintained and located just out of the center of Guatape. The contact with Juan (host) was very easy and he had good suggestion for activities and dinner places. Overall great experience. ”

“The hosts and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our four-day stay. We could sit at our breakfast table in the morning, take in a great view, and watch all the birdlife. The hotel is just outside of Manizales, so it was easy to get into the city with our rental car and close to other sites in the area as well. Great value for the price. Would definitely recommend it.”
