Relax on the shore of Lake Hartwell in our Fair Play retreat

In the delightful town of Fair Play lies this snug two-bedroom holiday house. Situated just a stone's throw from the serene shores of Lake Hartwell, this property offers the perfect escape for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere and a fully stocked kitchen, perfect for whipping up delicious meals. Unwind in the soothing oversized indoor tub after a day of exploring Lake Hartwell just 410 walking steps from your front door to the largest dock on Lake Hartwell.

There you will find a two level dock with a canoe and paddle boat for your use on the lower level. There is a ladder attached to the dock for those who like to enter the water a step at a time There is also a set of wooden steps that invite you to enter the water from the shore. You can sit on these steps with your small children and watch them delight in the minnows and small fish swimming around their feet.
There is also a bench type of seat attached to the doclk dack with the seat sitting just above the water level. This is great for one who wants to be AT the water but not in the water. You can read a good book while you just dangle your feet or just sit and watch the sun set..
On the large partially covered upper deck
you will find a variety of adarondeck chairs, some for lounging, others that swivel so you can better view the boats and fishermen, and others more stationary for having a snack at the table and chairs provided. We do ask that you bring your own properly fitting life jackets especially for any children.
Now picture this in an 'almost private' cove with no neighbors to the left and none across the cove from us. Ours is the last dock in the cove as the land to the left ends because it's a dead end cove. And the wooded land directly across from us is government greenbelt land and is government protected, with no camping allowed.
And because this cove dead ends a short distance past our dock, we are sparred from the noise and traffic of jet skiers, and high speed boats. We do have fishermen who come for that purpose. Even pro fishermen who come to compete in the fishing tournaments like this cove and have been filmed here for the competition.
