☀️You will fully enjoy nature in all its glory if you are among our first visitors as our custom window coverings are on back order. No worries, the home is built for utmost privacy, and the only "peepers" are actual peepers; frogs or other nature. Your private views are toward the lake. Enjoy sleeping with the moon and stars visible out your door/windows.
🧳This home serves as a primary residence for its owner, shared part time with others as a short-term rental. You are renting the entire unoccupied home, but the owners personal effects will be present, although mostly tucked away during your stay.
🛁The upstairs bedrooms and primary suite's ensuite bathrooms are 𝙣𝒐𝙩 𝙥𝒓𝙞𝒗𝙖𝒕𝙚 from the rest of the room, maximizing the floor space and helpful in the individually climate controlled rooms, but some parties may find this inconvenient
🧹𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 available for stays >3 days; work with your Host to schedule that service at times most convenient for your and your party when available or simply allow us to handle the details.
🐕We allow up to (2) well trained dogs. Pets must be leashed or have excellent recall; neighbors on one side are fairly close (300 yards) and pets must remain on our property. There is a shower in the laundry room if your pet(s) need a rinse off. Damage or fees incurred from dogs may be charged separate from damage insurance fees.

Bedrooms 3 + 4 (upstairs) Queen + pull out twin if needed + individual ensuites (open to the room) Each has a tub/shower combo, sink, toilet
Yoga Room (upstairs): This is a private space offering a Full over queen bunk (full bed has 150# weight limit) at top of spiral stairs. Not suitable for younger children or mobility impaired. No ensuite.
Upstairs office loft: Queen sleeper sofa
☀️Custom window treatments are on order, please be advised we do not currently have window treatments; your only view is of nature from any bedroom so be prepared to enjoy gorgeous views at all times!

Only the number of guests indicated on the reservation may be at the home at any given time unless otherwise arranged with the Host; having a couple of guests over for an evening visit is typically not an issue, but any gathering beyond this must be explicitly discussed. Service providers - private chef, daily housekeeping, etc may arranged for through Host and are excluded from this limit
We offer peace of mind with every reservation - up to $10K of damage protection in the event of any accidental damage during your stay. The fee for this insurance is added as a "Management" fee to every reservation; more information provided after booking.
We offer additional services (for a fee) including arranging for or providing concierge services, private chef, arranging for a driver, having breakfast delivered and set up or other services to provide a comfortable stay. Upon booking, you will be able to let us know your specific needs.
Please note, booking this property is not complete until a separate Rental Agreement has been signed by the booker; we are not, unfortunately, able to confirm any booking that does not have a separate rental agreement agreed to in order to protect all parties. Violations of house rules can result in termination of agreement without refund.
This property has a doorbell camera and 4 exterior cameras directed at the driveway and exterior grounds.

"The Green Jewel" name honors the owners Father, whose name loosely translates to "King Jewel" or "King Diamond" while reflecting the "green" nature of this solar passive home.

💌𝐎𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞:
This house is built with a “Passive Solar Design” allowing sunlight to heat the house directly through the large windows in the winter but shade in the summer which suited our ‘indoor-outdoor’ theme. The Passive House is highly energy efficient and potentially NetZero or even carbon positive with adequate Solar PEV panels. The design requires airtight construction, extra insulation and a separate air controller.
The Zehnder air controller refreshes the indoor air every 2.2 hours but maintains humidity, temperature and filters pollen. The indoor air is museum quality and very refreshing.
However, this house is a joy to be in. Any time of the day, any day of the week from any part of the house you have spectacular views. Every single time you open your eyes or look out you will be pleased.
