The town of Silvermines is very quiet (only one pub that doesn't serve food, but is a hoot - my husband had a great time chatting with people). “The Meadow View Farmhouse was a dream come true. Eamonn was an awesome host. He met us at the house with a wealth of information about the area and even booked us a visit to a local castle viewing. The attention to detail that he has put into refurbishing this old farmhouse is phenomenal. The views surrounding the house were spectacular! We even got to experience a local farmer moving his cattle from one pasture to another on the road in front of the house. A true Irish gem and we will……

“Nice facilities, well furnished and well kept. We were very comfortable. Only hitch was no internet in the house so working with a computer was not possible. connectivity for mobile was spotty. But we managed. And we had a comfortable stay. Owner was very nice and helpful. ”

The hosts provided a lovely welcome basket, and were very responsive to all inquiries and even provided guidance for places to visit and dine.
