The fully-renovated 1800 historic home is just steps from USNA’s Gate 3. Located in the heart of historic downtown on a quiet street next to the Naval Academy and St. John’s College, it’s a 5-minute walk to City Dock/Main Street. Perfect for Navy parents, Alumni, weddings, sailors, weekenders, sightseers, Legislators and Work-cationers.

Fully renovated in 2017, the kitchen is equipped with high-end stainless steel appliances (including a dual-temperature wine fridge!), granite countertops and opens up to the dining and living areas. The original hardwood floors have been re-finished, adding to the historic Annapolis charm and feel. In addition to the comfortable sleeping arrangements for 8, step out back into a massive outdoor living and dining deck with a gas grill and a fire pit. Head upstairs to the 4 bedrooms and 2 baths and relax on the private King Suite balcony.

For guests with cars, there are many safe, easy public parking options (some free) available within walking distance.

The property was very clean. Nice historic feeling to the place with its pine floors (although stairs are steep and narrow) yet kitchen & bathrooms very updated and new. We all commented how nice the outdoor space in the back looked - would like to return in warmer weather to use it! The beds were super comfortable. We were there on a very cold weekend and the main level stayed pretty cool while the upstairs was comfortable (there was 1 thermostat and we didn't want to turn it up too high as it would have gotten very warm upstairs.) We needed an extra layer to socialize on the main level. It wasn't too much of an issue for our group as we weren't there too much. The location was great! (We enjoyed hearing the national anthem every morning from the Yard.) Very walkable to/from downtown.

Perfect spot for easy access to USNA "Yard" through gate 3 for those with a "CAC". Up to two hours of parking along street at a time. Easy 7 min walk to garage parking on other side of nearby St Johns College that is free over night.

The Hanover House was extremely well-appointed and perfectly situated in Downtown Annapolis. It was immaculate and spacious - plenty of room for a family and/or friends get-together. The only challenge, which is the case for nearly all properties Downtown, was lack of adjacent parking. There are, however, some nearby garages and USNA directly across the street (if you are a DoD member). I definitely recommend and would stay here again. Thank you!

Everything went very smoothly with our stay from start to finish. Not recommended for elderly or disabled due to steep narrow staircase, but otherwise perfect. Close enough to walk to everything including the Academy. Well stocked supplies as well!! Definitely would recommend!!

We had a wonderful time and everything was very smooth with check in. Plenty of towels and toilet paper. Only negative feedback was there were ants in the kitchen in the spring and there was not a lot of plateware or kitchen knives for cutting.

I stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends and would absolutely recommend! It was exactly as listed - easy to get in with the electronic keypad, clean and comfortable, and the perfect location. Its a super quick walk to hang out in Annapolis, but also tucked away on a side street for quieter nights. The owners were very responsive to the few questions we had during our stay.

This is our second stay in this home on a trip to visit Annapolis. It is a perfect location to visit USNA, downtown Annapolis, or the Waterfront area. Parking is often available nearby, and garages are within easy walking distance. It is comfortable, cozy, and clean. We will likely be back soon!!

This place was wonderful! Came with a parking pass and was easily walkable to anything downtown Annapolis! The hosts made us feel welcome and were good communicators. Interior was beautifully updated. Our party of 7 adults stayed comfortably. Wonderful relaxing back yard. We could hear taps and revelry each day as well as bell tower chimes . Would definitely stay there again!

This proved to be one of our favorite properties to date when visiting our Midshipman at USNA for the weekend. Plenty of room for the family to spread out, comfy furniture you can snuggle into, and super comfortable beds. Kitchen and baths are all newly remodeled and exceeded our expectations.
