“We booked this to use the pool and restaurant. Be careful when booking the lodge vs the hotel. The pool was only open from 8-8 and we arrived At 815. The bed was not so good, sagging . Breakfast was just ok, limited items. Staff was ok. Place could use some upgrades. Better than camping. Location was convenient.”

“My husband and I travel to Wellsboro 2-3 times a year and we always stay at the Canyon Motel. They are always very friendly and accommodating and they keep the property spotless.”

“Shabby - shabby - chic Historic Pennwells. Pros: Lots of character. Very friendly staff - but everyone is friendly in Wellsboro. Good restaurant and tavern on site. They share the same menus. The interiors of each are unique and terrific. The hotel is in the center of town and walkable to everything. Cons: old and shabby - but it's a bit cool at the same time.”

“The rooms are spacious, clean and updated nicely. I love the farm nextdoor and the spacious yard.”

“We had a great long weekend. Very unique property with a lot of outside space to relax and hang out. Bonus that we could walk to The Log Cabin and very short drive to The Old Antler inn. Had a great time playing games and reading books that were there as wellThank you for a great time!!”
