This is a great 3 bedroom, 2 bath single level home situated in Seacliff within a short leisure walk to the Seacliff State Beach, Restaurants and Shopping. Enjoy casual dinner at Manuel's Restuarant, grab a quick bite to eat at Pizza One, or grab dessert at the famous Marianne's Ice Cream. Convenient location and again great for a family getaway. Seacliff State beach is known for its long stretch of sand, Enjoy fishing off of the cement ship and don't forget to stop off at the museum.

We were in town for a family wedding, and the property served our needs nicely. We particularly appreciated the proximity to the beach and a small community of restaurants, bars and Marianne's ice cream within an easy walking distance.

The property was in a good neighborhood, not too far from the beach. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was neat. The major issue was that the property may have had mold issues. It was apparently closed up for some period of time as it had a "musty smell". It certainly did not smell fresh and significantly bothered 2 of our group who had allergies. Also there were only mirrors in the bathrooms which upset one of our group. We could not get the air conditioning to work and were not sure if it had air conditioning. We would NOT rent again.

The home is in a nice location with easy access to most things. The furnishings were nice and the beds comfortable. The home itself could have been better cleaned. Additionally, there was no bar soap, shampoo or coffee. Upon rereading the listing, I realized they were not listed in the amenities, so that’s on me. I’ve just never stayed where these (at least soap & shampoo) wasn’t provided. One last mention is if you are getting to the house by gps be sure to note if it is street or road. We ended up in the hills.

I recommend this house for several reason not least of all is its proximity to the ocean and blocks away from a great ice cream store. The house is solarpowered so that was novel. Everything ( TV , Internet, barbecue, cable) worked great with the exception the fridge which did not. Bailey properties showed little alacrity and as a result we ended up not having a functioning fridge for the duration of your visit. Beds were comfortable, though I would travel with a pillow next time as the ones provided were lacking. Two bathrooms which was nice. The showerheads could stand to be replaced but perhaps I am being overly picky. I would return most assuredly. Decent kitchen and not too bad on the cookware and ancillaries.

Great location, only 2 blocks from the ocean and Seacliff beach. House was clean and fine. Only comment is that my friends and I used all 3 bedrooms and the beds outside the master bedroom could be improved (one had the mattress essentially on the floor, not the most comfortable).

I can’t say enough about this lovely home. First and foremost the location was perfection. Walk to Aptos State Beach, New Leaf Grocery, delicious sushi restaurant, superb French restaurant and more. The home was a model in energy conservation, just book it and you’ll see.

I stayed at the house in Aptos with my two adult children. The location was great and the house and yard were really lovely and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed having meals in the front patio garden.

Thisproperty is a great jumping off point for all that Santa Cruz has to offer. Located on a quiet street with great neighbors and the house was just as it was advertised.

This home is located in a neighborhood that is within walking distance to restaurants, ice cream parlor. and the entrance to Sunset Beach. The home is clean and the kitchen is well appointed. We are hoping the return next summer and extend our stay!

Very basic property. Smelled of cleaning chemicals upon arrival. There was no toaster, toaster oven, or tea kettle available.

This house provided a great opportunity for our family to stay together and enjoy some great memories. The only thing that wasn't up to par was the second queen size bed. It was quite hard.

My friend and I were planning a trip to go and watch the US Open in Pebble Beach and needed a place far enough away to avoid the traffic it generated but close enough to get there reasonably. This property fit the bill. This is a three bedroom house (only used 2 of them) with 2 bathrooms. The sitting arrangements seemed short a few chairs: the dining area only had 4 chairs and the living room had one lounge chair and a couch. Enough for us 2, but not for 6 as the 3 bedrooms would suggest. The reason for the 4 star on the 'cleanliness of property' is due because the 6" long black hairs in the carpet were not ours. A good vacuuming could change it to a 5 star. We did enjoy the small conveniences coffee, sugar, and other items that you do not need a lot of but usually need to buy to get by. It was cool and cloudy, not much good for any beach activity, so we didn't go or do anything at the beach. Golf on the other hand was good. Seascape Golf Course is 5 min, away and our favorite one Crazy House Ranch was about 30 minutes away. Overall, each night we came back from a full day and looked forward to the next. Thanks.

The house was perfect for our family of 5. Nothing fancy but everything we needed. The house location was great. We could walk to the beach, coffee, ice cream, pizza and a little general store. The courtyard was so nice to sit in the sun and smell the flowers. We loved it. My only complaint was the lack of beach towels and beach chairs. Its just not something you can travel with or want to waste money on. We left the beach chair we bought. You're welcome. My suggestions to improve would be to create a bunk room, so that two families could stay and better living room furniture, maybe a large sectional.

Our family loved this home. It was perfect for us and very comfortable to stay in. This home was very clean and had everything we needed. Very close to the beach and wonderful neighborhood. We loved Aptos and Redwoods near by. We would definitely rent this house again! Thank you for the great hospitality of this home!

The house is small, we had 6 people but did not spend much time in the house. The beds in two of the bedrooms were not the most comfortable, one mattress was on the floor. The neighborhood was very quite, and the neighbors were friendly helping us with directions of places we needed to go. The courtyard in the front of the house is the perfect place to hang out and enjoy the beautiful weather.

My family really enjoyed the house and the location. We spent 4 nights there and enjoyed walking to the beach, pizza place and ice cream. We were able to drive short distances to some of our favorite places like Santa Cruz & Monterey. The house itself was very welcoming and clean. There is a cat sent throughout from the carpet but still very clean. The kitchen has newer appliances and are easy to use. Overall, we loved it!

Beautiful little house in a small quiet beach neighborhood. This place was extremely clean. My wife and I are extremely picky about cleanliness and we had absolutely no issues with it. The appliances are very up to date,, they house is even on a solar grid and nothing is different from a regular electricity . The location was nice. Close walk to the beach and a couple of quaint restaurants, Supermarket was an easy 3 minute drive across the freeway. Centrally located with easy access to Santa Cruz, Monterey and San Jose. The only suggestions I have are super easy fixes, none of which are deal breakers for us. I would have loved to have some guidance on the light switches... Sounds odd, but they are way more advanced then I am... Eventually I figured it out (It took almost 30 minutes to figure out how to turn the TV on due to the fancy light switches as they were conected to the outlets, I also may have inadvertently turned off the drip system outside ). The cabinets in the kitchen are so tall a little step stool would be super helpful, maybe there was one? Would love to have had more dishes, silverware and kitchen tool(spatula, slotted spoons and such) so that we could fill the brand new dishwasher before running it. I have a feeling that we may have been the first to rent this property. Working with the management company was extremely easy, though we did not need anything from them, they were extremely nice on the phone and when we picked up the keys. I would feel comfortable recommending this property to anyone.
