“We enjoyed our stay at this unique location. The view was outstanding and we were very comfortable here. The steep driveway is not for everyone, but our vehicle was small and we’re good at using mirrors to reverse. Hey, this town boasts the steepest street in the world! We navigated it alright.The location is a quick drive to the central part of Dunedin, the St Clair Hot Salt Pool, and Lamarck Castle. A lovely drive to the end of the peninsula to see the albatross and penguins, too.”

“We had a great one night stay on our travels. Horrid wet day and it was perfect to have a home from home to cook and enjoy a meal.”

“We stayed in the Sand Dune unit. Lovely unit on beach front. Not at all noisy though you can slightly hear the neighbouring unit. Great to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by and enjoy the sound of the surf. Only stayed one night but would have loved to be able to stay longer. Ate dinner and breakfast at the Esplanade restaurant - very authentic Italian food, would highly recommend.”

“This is an older property but it’s clean, it’s safe and everyone I interacted with at the office was very helpful and nice. There’s lots of restaurants nearby and the University of Otago is less than a 10 min walk. There is onsite parking. If you’re arriving late they’re able to help with a later check in. ”
