“The environment and scenery was amazing! They had doggie treats and such there for the pup when we arrived also. I must say though I wish the cleanliness of the rooms equaled the quality demanding of the price spent on the rooms. The floors had dirt, the sheets were not clean and there was hair in the shower drain. And when we wanted the room cleaned, instead of new sheets they just turned the current dirty sheets over. “A little slice of heaven, next door to the Promised Land. We were in the area to visit Pa. State Parks and stayed here two nights. My wife found Rex Hotel online and she really relies on the reviews of past guests. With this receiving so many positive ratings we went for it. The no contact check-in and out was new for us, but no issues arose at all. In fact, everything went so smoothly it would be nice if others used this method. “The property was as pictured. I did not receive a check-in email, but that was quickly remedied when I contacted the owner. It was located with several other homes/cabins in the area. This cottage is situated above another and shares a driveway with what I would guess would be 3 cottages total. It is not a place I would come to to "get away from it all." I only stayed overnight which was good. I found the bed uncomfortable, too hard for my taste. It was sufficientfor my needs duringthis……
