“Left stranded. The property did not send the entry instructions for after-hours entry, even though they clearly advertised that they would. I NEVER got into my room and had to drive 60 kilometers to Sogndal late at night to find another room. I am a foreigner and could not get their phone number to work to ask for instructions. I left several messages through Expedia with no reply. The hotel in Sogndal included a breakfast and bedding and a very nice stay for roughly the same price as this……

“This is a lovely property in a beautiful spot. We stayed in one of the historic rooms in the main building. It was comfortable, quiet, and the water pressure was excellent. The three course dinner with wine pairings was delicious and beautifully presented, if a tad pricey. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
