PLEASE NOTE: We do not serve breakfast. The Rose Room is a romantic couples getaway located in South Asheville just minutes to downtown, and convenient to attractions like Sierra Nevada, Twelve Bones South and Jake Rusher Park. South Asheville is quickly becoming a "must see" destination in its own right, and we are right in the middle of it. FREE activities for stays under 29 nights, including Biltmore, Rock Wall, Zipline, Whitewater Rafting, Trampoline Park, Snow Tubing and Axe Throwing.

When we first discovered that the historic Blake House was for sale, we thought that living here was just a dream. But our dream has come true and we are excited to be sharing it with guests.

Welcome to the Rose Room, located in the main house. It is absolutely delightful with its twelve foot ceilings, its cozy atmosphere and its private entry. It is the perfect couples getaway. We have spent a great deal of time and effort to make it perfect, and we really love the result. We think you will too.

We are close to the Biltmore House, the Blue Ridge Parkway, the NC Arboretum, Pisgah National Forest and the Folk Art Center. We are convenient to the airport. The nearby towns of Hendersonville and Brevard are both about a 30 minute drive, making them great destinations for a day trip.

Our family lives in the main house, so please be aware that the front porch area is our family space and not accessible to guests. We invite you to enjoy the patio area and to walk around and enjoy the grounds.

We are so excited to host your visit! The Pete Key Properties team welcomes you and is here to help create a memorable experience. The owners were nice and helpful. The room is comfortable, beautifully appointed with early 20th century furnishings, a large bathroom with a soaking tub with a shower, small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Entrance to the room is directly from outside so you do not enter any other area of the house. There’s a nearby park with a walking trail. There’s also a large stone patio right outside the room. We would definitely stay again. We had a lovely weekend!

Quaint property with all the amenities needed for a relaxing time away from home. Very convenient to Asheville, Hendersonville and Brevard areas. The property was very clean and comfortable. The home was beautiful and the Rose Room was charming. Would recommend to anyone looking for a key location to experience all the outdoor activities in the area.

We really enjoyed staying here for the weekend! The location is great and just a short distance from downtown. The property manager is also very responsive. We did not do any of the activities since it was a little on the cold side, but looking forward to coming back and taking advantage of those deals!

The Rose Room was convenient to the Biltmore and Downtown Asheville, and other conveniences such as restaurants and grocery stores were close by. We enjoyed our weekend trip and are glad to see Asheville getting back on it’s feet.

I loved everything about this place. It is located in a quiet area and also in a area that made all of our adventuring a close drive. We were able to meet the owners and had a very nice conversation with them. We plan to come back and enjoy more of the moutain trails and would love to stay here again.

Our stay was lovely. The room is beautifully decorated and the location was perfect for spending 2days at the Biltmore. My only comment would be to book you Biltmore tickets ahead of time. The advertisement stated that you get a free Biltmore ticket if you book The Rose Room. This is correct, but you have to go through a 3rd party to get the ticket and I didn’t receive that information till the day we checked in. I then had to buy an additional ticket for my husband and coordinate the times.
