“What a beautiful and perfect spot for 10 of us to stay! We had so much space and the home was very welcoming and clean. Hosts were lovely. ”

“If you are going to Killarney and the Dingle peninsula this is an ideal location. The house is beautiful, clean, large rooms. If you have a family it has a huge kitchen with everything you need. Debra is a perfect host. Gave us great advice. And even offered to start us a fire. We were greeted by cows across the street in the morning. Wish we could have stayed longer. I'll try to post pics. “Cannot say enough good things about this little cottage. It’s excellently located to all the best attractions in Kerry, and it’s perfectly situated in the country but close enough to Castleisland to make getting groceries and going to the local pub easy. The caretaker, Timmy, built a fire for us twice and a local man gave my Dad an autographed book of his own poetry. Absolutely perfect accommodation for a family trip.”

“We loved our stay in Carrigaholt, owner of Morriseys bar was so helpful, had delicious dinner and drinks at The Long Dock and so enjoyed our morning coffee at the Baryard Coffee trailer a block from us. It was a highlight of our vacation!”

“Herlihy’s Halfway House is the perfect little place for all your adventures in County Kerry. Host Marie’s delightful former family pub is a fantastic setting to come back to after a visit to Tralee, Killarney or a trip around the spectacular Ring of Kerry. Marie is simply the best host, making us so welcome, and her knowledge of the local community, culture and best spots is remarkable. We’ve loved our visit and will be back soon.”

“A comfortable, high quality house with beautiful views across to the Kerry peninsula. The only issue to mention is that the corner of the bath is sharp and I inadvertently cut my leg on it. I hope this can be remedied so that no-one else does the same.”

“This is honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in in a long time. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL. The decor is so pleasing, fresh, and unique. It made us feel so comfortable and at home. The staff were all friendly and helpful any time of day. The breakfast was in their gorgeous event room that is eye candy with its rust, greens, and gold accents. “Een super fijne 2 dagen gehad. Vanaf moment tot de puntjes verzorgd en geholpen. Het personeel was echt ontzettend vriendelijk. De kamer was mooi, met leuk uitzicht. Alles was heel schoon en netjes. Het ontbijt was uitstekend en je kon er heerlijk eten. Met verschillende opties vanuit de bar of restaurant. Maar zelfs de bar eten was van niveau.
