“Owner was in contact straight with a very extensive information package running to several pages. He also contacted us by TELEPHONE directly from the USA! The booklet emphasised the wooden floors (several times) as also he did (several times) which was a tad OTT (or maybe just tor us standoffish Brits). The irish contact however was really helpful and left the key in an agreed place for us. When we arrived, we were not quite sure which cottage was ours so a sign might be useful. Upon arrival……

“We were very disappointed with the accommodation.it was very basic with rust and mildew around the shower and on the soap tray in the shower. Kitchen was basic and it seemed most things like the kettle were old and needed replacing. Beds quite uncomfortable and bedding well used. There was mildew on one mattress cover on part tucked under the bed. The towels were very thin and hard with big stains on some of them. “We had a great few days catching up with our grandchildren and cousins being able to pick up where they left off last time. The house was perfect for us all.. my sons spent time exploring the local countryside and the children enjoyed finding new hiding places for hide and seek. Helen couldn’t have been more helpful. We enjoyed exploring in Tramore, Clonea beach and a small section of the greenway. Hoping to return sometime soon ”
