“Looking for peace and quiet with an amazing view; this is the place to go. The wooden cottage is located up a hill with an amazing view on Lake Bras d’Or. The pictures are 100% accurate. Only thing to keep in mind, the drive up the hill is quite steep and the gravel road is quite bumpy. If you don’t drive a 4x4 or an awd vehicle, make sure your car is not too close to the ground or you could scrape and cause damage.”

Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury. I booked the cottage which was a great option for privacy, the screened porch was perfect for the mornings and evenings to get away from bugs.
