Just a short walk across the yard to a beautiful lake made this a perfect place for us and our kids ages 3,10 and 13. We brought our canoe for fishing and did so each morning of our 6 night stay. “1890s Elegant mansion with great bones and almost completely restored. Pool would be big plus in summer and game room definitely a plus, though some equipment needed repair. Great location for our short family reunion of 6 adults and 3 tweens. Would worry about kids less than 10 or limited mobility folks as stairs quite tight or spirally and high. Does have first floor bedroom but a bit of distance to the single well appointed bath on that floor. Kitchen quite well equipped and even had a wide……

“My friend and I stayed in this cottage in September and it was exceptionally cute and cozy. It had everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen. The beds were so comfortable and the bedding and pillows were perfect! The location was great. Right by Lake Algonquin and nearby several small villages. The owners suggestions were very helpful. “My family and I had a great stay at this beautiful home. The house was clean and comfortable with direct access to Lake Pleasant, steps from the front porch. We took advantage of the kayaks and fished right from the shore. Great hikes nearby, great place to just relax and enjoy the lake and the Adirondacks.
