“Exactly what we were looking for! The Shire was perfect spot for our quick family get away. Close to everything but entertainment right on site. Kayaking the river - finding the old dam/waterfall, saw wildlife (deer, geese), fishing, ending the day in the hot tub then dinner around the fire. Holly was great help with ideas for entertaining a 14 yr old and things to do. Highly recommend!”

“The cottage was very well decorated, and the yard has pretty landscaping. The kitchen was well stocked. The rental company leaves a nice welcome basket and is very responsive to any questions or concerns. We thoroughly enjoyed the coffee and locally made soap. We enjoyed hiking in Desoto falls park and appreciated being able to bring along the family pets. The sun porch daybed makes for a relaxing napping spot. The only negatives were the mattresses were too firm for our liking, and the……
