“We needed a place to stay in the gap between my son moving out of VIU residence and into an apartment. This was a great home base to visit many of Nanaimo's wonderful parks, beach areas and restaurants. Neck Point Park is within a nice walking distance. Driving is required for majority of other outings. The suite is very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely garden and covered deck to enjoy the morning sun and birds. There are a lot of stairs! This is fully noted in the listing, but should……

“Our host was extremely nice. The gardens are just beautiful. We had lovely weather which always helps, but it is a lovely place. The suite is extremely clean and well-appointed and the bed was comfy. We would definitely stay here again. Duncan is a fun little town with good restaurants. And….the mountains add to the trip. ”

“This is the second time I've stayed here. As before, the unit was really clean and beautifully appointed with every mod/con you would want . The whole environment is very chill! This time there were no robes in the unit to wear to the hot tub. I had to hunt them down in the pool house. Irritating, but not the end of the world and the gentleman at the front desk was kind and helpful. I didn't realize when I booked what percentage of the total was for the cleaning fee.
