“Beautiful property, nicely maintained. The staff is excellent, rooms and lobby area is clean. Breakfast was great. The house looks like an old historical home, great architecture, lovely gardens. Definitely recommend for a couple. Fantastic restaurant in walking distance, the Cherokee Rose, it’s a little pricey but well worth it and has specials. ”

“Nice stay. Elevator was broken so we had to use the stairs, but it was cool. Only for one night ”

“Front desk staff was not there when I first arrived to check in and I had to wait 5+ minutes for them to show up from wherever they had been to finally do so. It has never made sense to me that the ability to check yourself in and to bypass the front desk exists but I’ve never been afforded that opportunity. The parking is fine but getting in and out of the lot is difficult because large trucks will park along the road coming in and essentially turn the entry road into a one way road but it is……

“Was a very nice resort but they gave me 2 queen beds instead of the king i requested because traveling with grandchildren, i was told rollaways available. Queens were double at best, made sleeping hard. Balcony was dirty, yes in the woods, but still should be clean, and balcony door did not lock. Pool area dirty, not kept up and no outside bar during 3 days of stay, they said because of storms, but not fair. They told me an inside bar, but locked each time I tried.I would definitely stay here……
