“A unique hotel worth experiencing! We stayed in the Malbec suite in the 3rd floor with the most beautiful private outdoor area. The space was large and very comfortable. The rooftop bar was perfect for a nightcap. The staff throughout the hotel was amazing! ”
“We loved this hotel for it's ambience that included artwork, guest lounges and nice gardens. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very friendly and accomodating. The property uses sustainable practices to minimize use of plastic and waste. Our only complaint was being woken up early by the noise of voices in a nearby room. Rodrigo was particularly helpful given our limited Spanish skills.”

“O hotel e lindo. Fica no local mais turistico de Valparaiso. O cafe da manha bom, o atendimento execelente. O predio é antigo, banheiro simples, mas a localização, apesar de subir o cerro varias vezes( de boa) vale muito a pena. Voltaria mais vezes so pra ter o prazer de hospedar onde os turtas vao visitar todos os dias. Ja estavamos la...rsrs”
“Fauna Hotel is located at mid-hill level of Valparaiso and visit to historic buildings can be done in foot. The hotel also lies in restricted area where large vans are forbidden to enter. Passengers and luggages have to be dropped off the main road and there is a distance of 10 min walk to move between the hotel and drop off location. However, taxi and small vans can reach the hotel at closer range. But still there is a distance of about 30 metres to walk through.

“Though not needed this trip as relatively cool, I did expect air conditioning would be available. Would have liked in house dinner as felt unsafe outside hotel at night travelling alone. ”
“I would suggest covering the window over the door to help darken the room at night. I was in the first floor and my room only got dark once the lobby lights were dimmed. Other than that the hotel was nice. ”
“Gotta say I was surprised and delighted! This place is like an artists' hotel in the middle of a completely artistic community where all the houses are surfaces for actual art. Made myself right at home and staff to a person were friendly, helpful, funny and considerate.”
