There are numerous opportunities to discover nature on hiking and cycling trails in the area around Högsby. Explore the Swedish forests, stroll through picturesque villages or spend a day fishing by the lake. The towns of Vetlanda and Hultsfred, where you will find typical Swedish shops and cafés, are ideal for excursions. A visit to the Virserum Art Museum is also recommended to learn more about the local culture and history.

We absolutely loved the quintessential swedish lakeside house experience. Beautiful setting, rowing boat, boat pier, plenty of firewood and well equipped kitchen. We can highly recommend this house.
