“I've never had a problem with a VRBO or other vacation rental before. I booked because it said dog friendly, no pet fees, and looked like a great place. After they took my unrefundable booking money I got a text informing me I would have to pay hundreds on dollars in pet fees. When I pressed about listing information the owner just told me to cancel, but because the booking was unrefundable I had to spend days trying to get my money back from VRBO. ”

“This was a perfect place for a weekend with the Bros. Nice and spacious and great set up. You cannot drive quads out to the dunes without trailering up so just be aware of that if that is the main reason you are booking this place.”

“This was such a relaxing 2 days! The home is fully stocked with blankets, towels, cleaning, kitchen has NICE cookware, real plates utensils, silverware etc. Most common condiments are in frig and sugar flower etc under cupboard. Nice to light a fire, it was my first and great instructions with supplies all that is needed is there but paper products packaging plates and bags are great to help start the fire. There was no cell service, no internet but that is temporary. I liked that technology was……

“The property itself is beautiful and at one time well loved. The home had several little thoughtful extra such as automatic blinds, bidet,security system, camp chairs etc but the house was not clean; used bandages on night stand, coffee left in coffee pot, dusty, used tp in downstairs bathroom laying on the floor, hot tub had sand in it and the jets did not work, Unable to use space above boat house which appeared to be available in listing, the heating/cooling system doesnt function……

“This is a very comfy property. It was sparkling clean and they had everything to make for a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again if I travel to this location. My only small critique is that rather than place a hold on my card for damages, they charge a large deposit to your card (the largest I have ever seen, and not a hold). I travel frequently and have not experienced this before. It was not a huge problem for me but it could be a problem for others. It would not stop me from……
