We specifically wanted a rural rental where we could watch storms without the city lights and noise drowning out the storm - or simply to enjoy peace and quiet away from the city. The best part about this property is the tornado shelter right on the property. Considering the location (high tornado risk) I felt like this amenity definitely needed to be highlighted. “Quaint little cabin that is exactly as advertised. Place was very clean and quiet. It has 2 lovely porches for lounging outside. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. This was so much better than booking a noisy hotel, and it was cheaper!!”

“Cabin was very comfortable, clean and homey. The bedroom was roomy with a very comfortable bed. There was a large, full size hot water heater which provided more than adequate hot water! Wooded area with access to backwaters of the lake was lovely. Overall very wonderful experience. Only negative: it was very hard to find initially; asked for directions at Sinclair station in Stratford and they were familiar with property and gave us great directions. I would highly recommend this property!”
