Erwin Hills
Denise and Curtis Sluder are wonderful hosts, and their house is a perfect pied-a-terre for any visit to WNC. It's close to everywhere you'd want to go. As my daughter would say: "10 out of 10, would recommend!"

Great little getaway

Asheville getaway!
We had a great stay! The property was beautiful. Our children loved the creek! We loved having coffee in the crisp morning air on the porch. Loved being able to be downtown in minutes but feel like we were in the middle of nowhere when ended our days.

Bachelor trip weekend
Stayed here for a bachelor trip and was a great location close to everything we wanted to go to! There’s an awesome creek at the back of the property you can go and sit by and enjoy the evening which we had no idea about. The owner checked with us and made sure we comfortable to ensure we had a great time. Super clean, plenty of beds and good times to be had all around!

Great place and location
Our family recently stayed at the farmhouse and we really enjoyed our stay. The living area and bedrooms were comfortable, and really appreciated that the kids had their own bathroom upstairs. I also appreciated the out of the city location with a creek in the back, and was only a little over 10 mins to downtown.

This remodeled home sits atop a small hill and on a blind corner- so was a little nerve racking to exit each day. The back drive is not large enough for a car to turn around well/ so we had to back out into the semi-busy road each day. Least favorite part of the home. The yard surrounding the home was pretty cluttered and needed maintenance. There are several steps into the home, and a curb on the carport, so be careful. It was clean and well stocked- had nice towels/toilet paper/issues. Most places skimp here and I bring my own, but not this place. There is no dining area, but a bar area and stools accommodated fine. Only the king size room is comfy- the other two are small and difficult to maneuver within. Had to keep my suitcase in a different area to change. Heavy sulfur smell when using water- but tolerable. House had all the basic necessities and beds were firm, but comfy enough. Distance to town was perfect, and my kids enjoyed the space by the creek. Overall we enjoyed our stay. A few outdoor updates and driveway change would be great for this cute home.

Weekend getaway
The house was spotless and all necessary amenities were provided. Owners have done a great job remodeling an older home. Feels like you are staying in a cabin, very cozy and comfortable. Location was an easy access to Asheville. Owners were friendly and promptly replied to any questions.

Quiet, restful location outside Asheville
My family and I very much enjoyed staying at this property. The bedrooms were all spacious, the bathrooms were very clean, and everything felt very comfortable. We did experience some internet problems, but communication with the owner was phenomenal and we resolved the problem quickly. We highly recommend this property.

Anniversary/Biltmore stay
We had a great time staying at the home. The owner was very prompt to respond to any questions. The linens and beds were top notch! The main downfall was there is not table seating. They have a very small bar area up against the wall in the living area, but we cooked a big meal one night and there wasn't enough seating for the 6 of us. Luckily we found TV trays and made due sitting on the couches. Also the water has a very distinct sulpher smell. We had bottled water to use for any cooking and drinking. I didn't feel safe drinking the water. All in all we had a nice stay and comfortable sleeping arrangements for a party of 6 adults!

Biltmore vacation stay!
We loved relaxing on the front porch swing and watching the deer. The beds are so comfortable and the linens are 5 star. We also enjoyed the electric fireplace. The owner responded quickly to any of our needs. Highly recommend and its not too far from the Biltmore and historical Asheville.

Just as described
It was a very quick stay. In town to attend a family reunion. The house was very clean. No problems at check-in. The beds were comfortable. The ice maker was broken but no big deal, we just bought a bag of ice. Denise was able to answer any questions we had. There was an Ingles about 8 minutes away. We weren’t there long enough for the kids to enjoy the creek.

Wow! What a great experience we had staying at this Vrbo. Denise was so hospitable.and all around a wonderful host.I had questions due to this being the first time we stayed at a Vrbo and she was so kind, prompt and helpful. I could always count on a response to my questions within minutes. This continued throughout our whole stay. She was just great! As for the house, super cute and just as pictured. We had more than enough space considering the amout of time we spent there. If i ever get back that way, i would definitely rent from this host again!

Fantastic stay!
We came up for the weekend. My son was beat man in a wedding so we needed a place where I could keep our newborn granddaughter so they could be at all of the wedding events. The house was so comfortable and absolutely lovely.
