“Beautiful part of Scotland the caravan site However was a little on the shabby side, some of the caravans were in really bad condition which made the site look worse than what it was, the inside of our caravan was not very clean and the fixtures had seen better days.”

“Great central location from which to explore the Borders region from Bamburgh to Melrose ; from the Alnwick Gardens to Edinburgh. After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . “The house was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. The children (2-5 years old) loved the yard and game room, and the adults got the game room to themselves when the children went to bed. The grounds are lovely and well maintained and the house is very comfortable. Martin, our host, was very responsive. We did not rent cars, so we used a tour company for day trips and also used taxis for nearby destinations. Thank you Martin!”

“Perfect house, very quiet and clean. Owner was very nice and helpful, less than 10 min drive to shopping and attractions. Castle is big tourist area, less than 10 min away. Def would stay here again if back in Scotland ”
