“Cute property in a beautiful setting. Love the location and ease of getting into Boone.”

“The creek is amazing. Deep enough to wade into. Location is convenient to Banner Elk (you have to try the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster!!) and Boone (have to try Coyote Kitchen and Stick Boy!) While you're at it head up Beech Mountain in the summer and ride the chair lift to the top (there's a bar up there) and watch the mountain bikers ride down the mountain. House was convenient to all of this! Can't wait to return. Oh yeah, the homemade sour dough bread and jam are a welcome surprise. ”

“This North Carolina rental was the perfect quiet, rural escape! We absolutely loved the peaceful surroundings and found it to be a truly relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a plus. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind. ”

“Excellent stay on top of the mountain with a beautiful view from the deck for miles and miles. This is a great spot if you want to be alone. It is important that you realize this house is on top of a mountain. It is NOT suited for someone in a wheelchair. The walk from the parking spot to the house is up a severe incline. If you want to go for a walk on the road, it is a very steep road. This is great if you want to be isolated and everyone in your party is fit enough to climb stairs. We stayed……

“Such a sweet little place with great access to the town! Since a good portion of the Virginia Creeper Trail is closed right now we used the house as a jumping off point to a day of hiking near Boone and another day of exploring Cherokee National Forest. The fenced in backyard was great for our dog. We ate out for all meals because there were so many great options and didn’t use the kitchen much but it looked to be well appointed. WiFi was strong and the TVs were great. ”

“We had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin sitting right on a small fork of the New River. We even tubed from the cabin down to the Payne Branch park, definitely recommend doing that, a short and easy tube ride and you can walk back along the road. ”
