“We stayed in Ben's mountain home for four nights in april. The home was very welcoming and there was plenty of space to sleep and relax. It is is located close to the shenandoah national park and some wonderful wineries, making it conveniently located for both adventure and relaxation.”

“Six of us girlfriends from college stayed for a long weekend. The location is amazing and close to downtown Middleburg - which is good because we couldn’t get an uber/lyft home from dinner :). House is spacious, cozy and has everything you need. We had a few creepy crawlies join us now and then, but overall it was excellent and the host is responsive.”

“We stayed with our adult son and 2 dogs over Thanksgiving week. The house was very cool, had a great layout, comfortable furniture and well-equipped kitchen. On the down side, there was no heat in the bathrooms, the rain shower heads sprayed all over the place, the towels were more like blankets than towels (we went and purchased regular terry towels). The driveway is steep and would require 4-wheel drive in winter. We wanted to do some star gazing but there were so many outside lights……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was fantastic, just right for 5 couples. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable, black out shades were nice. mattresses were deluxe. The whole house was beautifully decorated, and furnished with very nice pieces. The covered porch and fire pit, were both exceptional experiences for our group. Loved being in nature, and away from the city. Listening to the owls, and watching the horses graze, and deer run freely. Dishwasher did not work, but I am……

“We stayed as we are in between houses and wanted to have a larger place to host and cook the holiday meal. I will say that the house could definitely use some updates and also a deep cleaning. Generally, it was comfortable and the views of the river are beautiful. The whole house was well stocked with just about anything we needed that we forgot to bring. I would have loved it more during warm weather but even during the winter, it was comfortable. ”

“Warm and cozy cabin for a great girls wknd enjoying the local wineries. Jana was quick with communication when i had questions. They provided a lot of the essentials if you forgot anything. I. Took away a star for location because the roads are mostly gravel and steep hills. I think there should be a disclaimer”

“Happ to have found this place with such great access to hiking, wine tasting and checking in to several towns.The property is lovely and clean. We had everything we needed during our stay.The hot tub is big and clean with a great view of Skyline drive. Unfortunatley, there is some home construction being done below the property and someone saw fit to park a large dump truck with its dump up, right in front of the home. So sad we did t have the view we expected.Regardless of that, it’s a great……

“Large, wonderful house nestled in the mountains. Stunning view, beautiful setting in the woods. Very roomy house especially the kitchen. All the conveniences you would need including indoor and outdoor games, grilling, and hot tub!”

“First, Julie responded immediately to any need and was easy to reach. A few points on what this cabin is and is not. Access is easy, only the last 500' is gravel, no 4 wheel required. The neighborhood is not the best but being at the end of the lane and tree cover gives good privacy and screening. The cabin- a contemporary structure with a very rustic interior. The 2nd br is a loftwith bath on the 1st FL. Large master br and bath - very nice and a well equipped kitchen. Very large outdoor……
