“The house is in the most picturesque location. We spent hours in the deck listening to trees and birds, looking at the sunset, cooking BBQ. Lots of fabulous eateries within 30 mins drive. The host is responsive and the house is very well equipped. Wuld recommend to friends and family.”

“Visiting family for Easter with 8 of us. House was spacious and well equipped. Needed for nothing and good supermarkets nearby. Nice quiet estate. Communication was perfect. Only fault I would give was front driveway could do with a pressure wash.Thanks for the stay, we would definitely book again. ”

“This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. “The Brooklodge is a beautiful hotel and the grounds are immaculate and lovely to walk around. It is a lovely old style building with a separate building called "brookhall" that has rooms and a geothermal pool. There is an amazing restaurant called the Strawberry tree restaurant, a great leisure centre. Overall, i think it is a little gem and off the beaten track but it is a must see. There is also a lovely quaint looking church beside a river stream-ideal for weddings. ”
