“For our return stay in Historic Edenton we chose this charming bungalow. It is conveniently located in the downtown area-walking distance to several restaurants, shops, and historical sites. The home was very clean, nicely decorated, cozy, and had all we needed for a few day stay. Bikes were available for our use. The best part of the stay was enjoying the beverage of the hour on the front porch, morning & evening; people watching and feeling the cool breeze from the River. The owner was……

“Weekend trip to Edenton was fantastic! The Bungalow is within walking distance to everything. We parked our car and it sat until we left. The house is extremely clean and the perfect size for a couple... more than we needed to be honest since we ate out every meal haha! Enjoyed sitting on the back porch with a bottle of wine in the evening and coffee on the front porch in the morning. Theona is a great host and communicator. She provided lots of nice touches from snacks and water to coffee……

“My girlfriend and I stayed for 3 nights and. overall, enjoyed this house. Pros: clean, easy check in, easy communication with manager, fire pit, porch, location Cons: bed in 2nd bedroom uncomfortable as it has gaps where it folds, advertized hot tub but when we contacted to ask if it was clean and usable, we were told it had not been opened. Said lights around hot tub would light but we could not get them too. Disappointed as hot tub was a big draw for us, Fireplace in house, if it works, no……

“The location of this property was ideal for easy access to the town & all it has to offer. Also, this neighborhood is quiet and very peaceful. No noisy traffic or neighbors. The house suited our needs in every way. The only negative was the squeaky bed in the king bedroom. The host was most gracious & attentive to all my requests. We’ve stayed here before & probably would again if he could fix that bed. ”

“Really enjoyed our two nights at the property. Given how the river is positioned at the property, you face pretty much directly west, which allowed us to enjoy gorgeous sunsets looking straight across the river. Just a 10-minute drive from downtown Edenton and all it has to offer (super pretty little town that sits on Albermarle Sound). Also a special shout out to our host Van Dee, who was super responsive in helping us troubleshoot accessing the streaming services after we had screwed things……
