With over 80 years of history, the house exudes authentic summer house charm with low ceilings, coziness, and character. The house has undergone major renovations to meet modern standards. The house and grounds offer:
Entrance with ample space for shoes and jackets.
Foyer with a cozy nook and space for play.
Cozy living room with a seating arrangement and dining table. The living room invites tranquility, board games, reading aloud, and Friday gatherings or a movie for older family members.
TV and DVD player, and Chromecast for streaming. There is also a satellite with German channels.
Well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator and freezer, ceramic stove, extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and hot and cold water. The kitchen is well-equipped with pots, pans, bowls, crockery, and various utensils and has direct access to the morning terrace.
Bedroom by the kitchen with a double bed and a curtain as a "door" - cozy alcove charm.
Bedroom by the foyer with 2 bunk beds, i.e., 4 beds, usually occupied by stuffed animals. However, it is often possible to make a deal with the stuffed animals to share the beds for a while. It is not recommended to plan for adults in the upper bunks as the access is simply too narrow due to the low ceiling.
Large bathroom with toilet, shower, cabinet, drawer space, and washing machine.
Covered terrace with garden table and 6 chairs, as well as a ball grill.
Morning terrace with garden table and 4 chairs.
Small terrace with garden table, 4 chairs, and a fire pit, connected to the covered terrace.
Large plot with a lawn inviting ball games and play, as well as a swing set with 3 swings, one of which is a baby swing.
The backyard with 3 terraces and a lawn is secluded with living hedges. The 2 sunbeds can be enjoyed in peace and quiet.
Parking in the front yard with space for 5 cars.
Just 330 meters from the house is Høve beach, a lovely child-friendly sand and pebble beach. The further you go to the left, the fewer stones. Along the beach lies the Høve forest, offering walks under the Danish beeches, views over the Sejerø bay, babbling brooks, and a grill area by the water's edge.
If you want to go a little further afield, there are good bus connections a few hundred meters from the house - (The bus stop is called Ahornvej, Odsherred. So you can plan your journey)
