It’s a fun, kinda funky place to stay. It’s old. Creaky floors and some wear on the fixtures. No tv in the room. Lots of amenities if you’re looking to stay cheaply or be close to downtown Astoria.

The front desk clerk greeted us warmly and efficiently. On-street parking was plentiful and then we just left the car to walk to walk around the historic district. Ft. George Brewing is right across the street. Beds were comfortable and the room. The room decor and high ceilings made it feel airy and larger than it is

The ONLY thing about this hotel that isn’t five-star is the noise from the streets. They provide ear plugs… you will need them! I love this place! It’s in the middle of everything. The staff is great. The vibe is awesome! I’ll stay here again, even with the street noise.

Staff is quite wonderful at the Norblad, the walls however are quite thin and can hear everything from snoring to passion. Fortunately ear plugs are provided.

This hotel was top notch. The staff are so lovely. The coffee was good (for real, this is so unusual). They had record players to borrow and a fun selection of vinyl. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. High marks across the board.
